What is notary?
Notaries, or Notaries Public are experienced and knowledgeable individuals, often a solicitor, who are formally appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and whose conduct is regulated by the Court of Faculties under Acts of Parliament from 1533 to 1990.
They have to have an annual Practicing Certificate, Professional Indemnity Insurance and a Fidelity Bond.
